My Bio
I am a designer, a mother, and someone who has always believed that the right tools in the right hands can change everything.
My work started with a brush in Nigeria, in a classroom where I learned that making something beautiful was never really about the making. It was about the person receiving it. That lesson followed me through five languages, a painting business, a Technical Writing department I built from scratch, and a daughter named Eman who rewired everything I thought I knew about design, about people, and about what it means to truly meet someone where they are.
Today I run workshops. I teach small business owners and community organizations how to market themselves with confidence, how to think through problems with intention, and how to build something real with whatever resources they have. No jargon. No assumption of budget. Just practical strategy and honest guidance that makes someone feel like they can actually do this.
I believe in starting at $20 before you spend $2,000. I believe in using what you already have before chasing what you don’t. And I believe that every person with something worth sharing deserves to know how to get it seen.
That is why I founded XPEDigital. To craft experiences that teach, connect, and move people forward.

Designing with Eman: How Motherhood Shaped My Mission for Inclusion and Innovation
Every designer has a defining project. Mine began the day my daughter Eman was born. Her arrival did more than reshape my life as a mother — it transformed my understanding of design itself. I came to see that design is not merely about aesthetics or functionality; it is about who we choose to include.
This book traces my journey from personal uncertainty to purposeful innovation. The most meaningful systems I have ever built did not begin on a screen, but in hospital rooms, school meetings, and quiet moments of reflection. Through lived experience, I discovered that empathy is the foundation of true innovation.
Part memoir and part manifesto, this book is an invitation — to parents, designers, and leaders alike — to see design as an act of humanity. When we design with inclusion, clarity, and compassion, we shape not only better products, but a better world.

I am a perfectionist artist inspired by my surroundings, working across watercolor, acrylic, and digital mediums. As the owner of The Yellowbrush Studio, I have created and sold hundreds of handcrafted greeting cards through markets and online platforms, while also donating artwork to fundraisers. I am a Grumbacher Certified Instructor at Michael’s Arts & Crafts and a Spotted Canary Certified Instructor at Hobby Lobby, creating with tools such as Wacom Intuos and Autodesk Sketchbook Pro across diverse surfaces.
