My Story
My journey has been one of resilience, reinvention, and purpose. As a mother of three, I found my greatest inspiration in my youngest daughter, Eman, whose life with Down syndrome reshaped my vision of design and advocacy. After confronting personal struggles with depression and anxiety, I chose healing, clarity, and courage. That turning point led me to found XPEDigital, building it from the ground up with determination and expertise. From launching EmanCards to serving as a Down syndrome ambassador and inclusion speaker, I strive to bridge technology and humanity—proving that strength, creativity, and compassion can redefine both business and belonging.

I help small businesses, nonprofits, and organizations bring clarity, structure, and inclusivity to their digital presence — across websites, mobile apps, email, and automation systems. I’ve helped organizations improve accessibility, grow their marketing systems, and create more human digital experiences. Designing with Eman: How Motherhood Shaped My Mission for Inclusion and Innovation
Every designer has a defining project. Mine began the day my daughter Eman was born. Her arrival did more than reshape my life as a mother — it transformed my understanding of design itself. I came to see that design is not merely about aesthetics or functionality; it is about who we choose to include.
This book traces my journey from personal uncertainty to purposeful innovation. The most meaningful systems I have ever built did not begin on a screen, but in hospital rooms, school meetings, and quiet moments of reflection. Through lived experience, I discovered that empathy is the foundation of true innovation.
Part memoir and part manifesto, this book is an invitation — to parents, designers, and leaders alike — to see design as an act of humanity. When we design with inclusion, clarity, and compassion, we shape not only better products, but a better world.

I am a perfectionist artist inspired by my surroundings, working across watercolor, acrylic, and digital mediums. As the owner of The Yellowbrush Studio, I have created and sold hundreds of handcrafted greeting cards through markets and online platforms, while also donating artwork to fundraisers. I am a Grumbacher Certified Instructor at Michael’s Arts & Crafts and a Spotted Canary Certified Instructor at Hobby Lobby, creating with tools such as Wacom Intuos and Autodesk Sketchbook Pro across diverse surfaces.
